The National Surgical Nursing Academic Conference of the Chinese Nursing Association kicked off in Wuhan on August 15, 2019. Zhende teamed up with the Surgical Nursing Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association to hold the special satellite meeting on Clinical Application of Gradient Compression Stockings and pre-release the Expert Consensus on Prevention and Treatment of Venous Thromboembolism with Gradient Compression Stockings, which is of great significance to the prevention of venous thromboembolism in China.
At the special satellite meeting on Clinical Application of Gradient Compression Stockings, experts from Shanghai Hospital spent about 30 minutes referring to foreign guidelines and expounding on issues of concern such as the application, mechanism and nursing tips of gradient compression stockings in the prevention of venous thromboembolism and briefed on the Expert Consensus on Prevention and Treatment of Venous Thromboembolism with Gradient Compression Stockings that is scheduled to be released in September. The Expert Consensus on Prevention and Treatment of Venous Thromboembolism with Gradient Compression Stockings marks a fruitful result of the cooperation between the Chinese Nursing Association and Zhende and is also a step forward in the prevention of venous thromboembolism in China.
